Rose Fedechko, LAC
Therapist
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wilmington University and a BA in Psychology from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. I also hold licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, specializing in sensory integration across the lifespan.
As a U.S. Army Veteran and former Captain who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, I bring a deep understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of individualized care. My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, blending evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with sensory-informed strategies to support emotional regulation and healing.
I am an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), with specialized training in attention, executive functioning, and neurodivergent care. My clinical focus includes working with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and sensory processing challenges. I’ve spent over six years supporting elementary and secondary school students in regulating their sensory systems, and have also worked in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings to promote functional and emotional well-being.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and training my therapy dog, Maxi, who is being prepared to support individuals with PTSD. My practice is rooted in compassion, mindfulness, and a holistic understanding of each client’s unique journey. I strive to create a space where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
